The United States Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, seeks to fill the position of (Assistant/Associate) Professor of Asian Studies in the Department of National Security and Strategy in the School of Strategic Landpower with an annual salary between $74,219 and $122,065.  This is a fulltime, long-term, civilian faculty position at the US Army’s most senior institution for professional military education. The person selected for this position will have a leading role in planning, administering, and teaching three primary core courses, Theory of War and Strategy; National Security Policy and Strategy; and Regional Studies (Asia); as well as other core and elective courses.  Additionally, the selectee will engage in cutting-edge scholarship that advances knowledge in fields relevant to the curriculum and engage in service in support of USAWC missions.  The position comes with a generous compensation package as well as with the many benefits of working at an innovative, vibrant, and collegial military educational institution.
