Call for Submissions: "Cross-Currents: East Asian History and Culture Review"

Keila Diehl Discussion

Cross-Currents: East Asian History and Culture Review is still accepting submissions for its March 2018 issue, which will feature individual research articles that are not connected thematically. To be accepted for peer-review, articles must fit within the scope of the journal as defined in its mission statement and represent work that sheds new light on, or has significant implications for, current models used to understand aspects of East Asian history and culture.

Submissions will be evaluated based on their:
• originality;
• importance to researchers in the relevant field(s);
• rigorous methodology with conclusions justified by evidence presented;
• written eloquence and clarity; and
• accessibility and interest to a general humanities readership

Further information regarding the journal’s requirements and online submission process is available here. The deadline for the March 2018 issue is September 1, 2017.

All articles published in the March 2018 online issue will also be included in the May 2018 print edition of Cross-Currents published by University of Hawai‘i Press.

Cross-Currents is indexed on the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), SCOPUS, the Bibliography of Asian Studies, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), BrowZine, and Project MUSE.
