2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Competition Open - Awards Available in East Asia and the Pacific

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 400 unique awards for U.S. citizens to teach, research, and conduct professional projects in more than 130 countries. 

43 unique awards are available throughout East Asia and the Pacific for the 2024-25 academic year, from Taiwan and Malaysia to Thailand, Timor Leste and Indonesia.   Explore awards available in the 2024-25 competition on our site, where you can search by country, discipline and other criteria.  You can join the more than 400,000 Fulbrighters who have come away with enhanced skills, new connections and greater mutual understanding.
