CFP: Chinese Literature Before 1900 Session
Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association (RMMLA) 76th Annual Convention
October 11–14, 2023
Denver West Marriott Hotel in Denver, CO.
We invite submissions of papers pertaining to Chinese literature before 1900. Topics may include a wide range of genres and conceptions of literature, including, but not limited to poetry, fiction, essays, literary criticism, drama, performance genres and the intersection of these texts within their contemporary historical, cultural, socio-political, religious and gendered frameworks, as well as their subsequent reception in translation across languages, cultures and time periods. We welcome submissions from scholars at all stages.
