Greetings all, apologies for cross-posting, but I'm thrilled to share the good news that my new book, The Battle for Fortune: State-led Development, Personhood and Power among Tibetans in China, is coming out with Cornell University Press, and Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asia Institute (2018, 348 pages, ISBN-10: 150171967X). This has been a 15-year process and I thank all my colleagues and friends who helped make this happen.
