Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Japanese Studies

The Johns Hopkins University Program in East Asian Studies invites applications for the 2016-2018 Japan Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Japanese Studies for one fellow, who will be appointed to a two-year term beginning on July 1, 2016 and ending on June 30, 2018. This position is open to recent Ph.D. recipients (awarded between January 1, 2013 and June 30, 2016) in the fields of anthropology, film and media studies, literature, religion, sociology, and women’s studies. We are especially interested in applications from scholars whose research and teaching portfolios would contribute to one of Hopkins’ interdisciplinary majors/minors, such as public health, global environmental change and sustainability, film and media, or Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
