A new blog article has been added to Project Macau History (PMH), an online platform for the study and discussion of Macau history. Written by MPhil student Amalia Huang Yuncen, the essay reviews major events such as the 1999 handover and the 2008 Beijing Olympics from the eyes of a Filipino worker. This is a special piece dedicated to Macau's Filipinos, who make up a community that has remained largely absent in official records and scholarly works, but have quietly worked behind the scenes to keep the city running.
