Impending Deadline for 2019 William L. Clements Library Fellowship Applications

The William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan is accepting applications for 2019 research fellowships. Specializing in pre-1900 American history, the Clements Library's primary resources (books, manuscripts, pamphlets, maps, prints and views, newspapers, photographs, ephemera) support diverse research topics. Strengths include: military history, gender and ethnicity, religion, the American Revolution, Native American history, politics and government, slavery and antislavery, Atlantic history, the study of cartography, the Civil War, travel and exploration, and others.

Applications for short-term and long-term fellowships are due January 15, 2019, for projects to be completed that calendar year.
