Race and Ethnicity in American Television is a 3-volume that explores people of color in American television.  It includes would include overview essays on early, classic, and contemporary television and the challenges, developments, and participation of people of color on and behind the screen.  It will include A-Z entries coering television programs, genres, themes, key programs, and biographies of actors and writers of color
