Call for Papers: AAA 2019, Changing Climates/Changer d’air, Vancouver BC

Dear H-SAE Members,

The time has come to start planning sessions for the annual AAA meeting—this year with CASCA—in Vancouver. This year’s theme is Changing Climates/Changer d’air. The Society for the Anthropology of Europe Program Committee and Executive Board are looking forward to putting together a great program in an amazing city for thinking about climate change, both literal and metaphorical, and its implications for European spaces!

When you submit your sessions, please select SAE as your review section. Our co-sponsored sessions were a great success last year, so we seek co-sponsorships for sessions again this year. Please feel free to suggest secondary review sections.

Note that some of the submission dates have changed this year:

• Submissions must be started by Friday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
• Submitters will have until Wednesday, April 10 at 3:00 p.m. EDT to finalize and submit their proposals.

Presenters will need to be members of either AAA or CASCA to submit, and the last day to secure discounted Annual Meeting registration pricing is March 20.
