The Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center is hiring instructors for Summer Intensive Japanese Classes and Teacher Training for Summer 2022 from June 1 to June 30, and potentially until July 30th depending on student demand.

Monthly compensation will be $2500.

A candidate will be expected to have a high level of Japanese skills. At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred, K-12 teaching experience is welcomed.

The instructors will be responsible for daily instruction, and will be asked to set their own professional decisions for class start and finish at the start of the semester when writing the syllabus. This instruction will include a number of CPE hours of teacher training work to provide instruction to teachers of Japanese in Texas.
