In a series of interviews this week, Greg Poling (CSIS Fellow) addressed the rise of the Pacific Island Development Forum (PIDF) as spearheaded by Fiji.

With all eyes on major power competition in the near waters of Japan, this issue has not garnered significant media attention. But, it seems as if it should still be on the field's radar.
