Assistant Professor Tenure Track Position in International Studies
(East Asia or Southeast Asia)

School for International Studies 

The School for International Studies at Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, Canada) invites applications for a full time, tenure track Assistant Professor position with expertise in East Asia or Southeast Asia to begin September, 2018. We invite applicants from any social science discipline with research focused on issues of security and conflict, governance, or development. 

Applicants should have a doctoral degree by the time of appointment, demonstrated excellence in research, and strong teaching potential. Applications will be treated in confidence and should include: a letter of application, statements of research and teaching interests, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of reference. Applications will be reviewed beginning October 27, until the position is filled. This position is subject to the availability of funding.
