(Apologies for cross-posting) The International Research Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken) is accepting applications for research collaborators (unpaid) on the following 3-year Team Research Project:

Imagining and Developing Images of the Body in Medicine, Art, and Folk Religion

              Project coordinators are Prof. Manami Yasui (安井眞奈美), Nichibunken, and Dr. Lawrence Marceau, University of Auckland. Presentations and publications will be in Japanese. Links to the project summary are here:

              The coordinators are currently applying for funds to support travel to Nichibunken to attend periodic weekend workshops (共同研究会—3 to 4 annually). Remote conferencing is also anticipated.
