Apologies for sending this out so late, but there were too many late changes in dates and venue to do so earlier.  We hope that interested parties in the Los Angeles area will be able to come.

The  Project for Premodern Japan Studies at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles) will welcome 8 visitors—faculty and graduate students—from Tokyo’s Meiji University, as well as faculty and graduate students from the University of California at Santa Barbara and California State University at Long Beach, for the annual USC-Meiji University Japanese History and Archaeology Research Exchange. The event will be held on February 15 and 16. Faculty members and graduate students will present their work, in English and Japanese, over two days.
