Verbal Arts of Japan Tour

The Council of East Asian Studies at Yale University has organized a tour of rakugo and rokyoku performers.

THE VERBAL ARTS OF JAPAN

Featuring:

• Irifunetei Sentatsu (rakugo) 入船亭扇辰
• Tamagawa Nanafuku (rokyoku) 玉川奈々福
• Tatekawa Shinoharu (rakugo) 立川志の春
• Hirosawa Mifune (shamisen) 広沢美舟

They will perform in Japanese with English subtitles. All performances are free.

The first performance will be at Yale University:
