CFP: 2022 OAH Lightning Right

Chelsea Gibson's picture

SHGAPE is organizing a lightning around for the 2022 OAH Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts (March 31 - April 3) to highlight the work of emerging scholars in the field. Each lightning round session includes 6-10 emerging scholars and 2 chairs/moderators. Each scholar has 5-8 minutes to give their “elevator pitch” of their research in quick succession followed by a question and answer period. If you are a graduate student or a recent Ph.D. who would like to participate at the 2022 OAH Annual Meeting in Boston, please send a CV and a 150 word abstract of your research to Hannah Alms at halms@iu.edu by July 15, 2021. Lightning sessions can be a wonderful opportunity to present your work, be included in the OAH program, and help define new directions in SHGAPE scholarship. We will ask that selected participants join SHGAPE.
