Berks: Seeking Panelists - Histories of Women's Education in the Global South
I am organizing a panel for the 2020 Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, Genders, and Sexualities which brings together scholars who are interested in presenting new research about this history of women's education in the Global South. My own research examines the history of Women's and Gender Studies in the Global South focusing on the institutionalization of the discipline, the role of academic feminism in its development, and the socio-political factors necessary to establish the field in differing nations/institutions.
The conference will take place at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland (May 21-23, 2020). If you are interested in joining me, please send the following to me via email (email@example.com) by March 1, 2019:
- Paper title
- Abstract or description of your presentation (up to 250 words)
- Resume/CV or Biographical statement
- Correct e-mail address
- Affiliation, city, state, and country
- Audiovisual needs, if any
