Please Help H-1960s and H-Net Continue for Another 25 Years!

As soon as founding editor Michael Lumisch posted his inaugural invitation 14 years ago to join the discussion at H-1960s, subscribers were offering suggestions for course readings, debating periodization, discussing the meaning of the “counterculture,” and wondering whether major scholars could be invited to discuss their research.  Eventually subscribers were wondering about “music related to rebellions” that resonated with many of them old enough to remember.   This kind of collaboration is what has defined H-Net for 25 years, under the careful oversight of hard-working editors like Michael and supported by a dedicated staff at the H-Net Home Office.

The undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals at the Home Office support the work of editors by providing notices of job openings, conferences and events, and announcements of new scholarship in the fieldThe equipment, software, and training to accomplish this is expensive and shouldered almost entirely by us.  Please join our 25th anniversary appeal by donating what you can to H-Net!

We cannot do it without you, our readers.

Please help us continue by donating to H-Net today as we celebrate 25 years of service to our common profession.

Gratefully,

Peter
