The Australian Catholic Historical Society is pleased to announce that its 2015 James MacGinley Award for students and recent graduates has been won by Dr Charmaine Robson (PhD, UNSW) for her paper '"…In the event of a call from the Government": The Australian Catholic Church and the indigenous leprosy apostolate'.
 
On 24 Sept 2016 the Society will hold a conference on 'To and from the Antipodes: Catholic missionaries over two centuries', dealing with all aspects of Catholic missions in the Australasian region. The call for papers and further details are available at
