The Literary and Cultural Plant Studies Network's first international conference in cooperation with the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum took place in Dresden, June 6-8, 2019. With its interdisciplinary approach, the program offered various talks about the literary and cultural roles of plants, examined them as poetic forces beyond a mere decorative existance, and furthered the international research within the budding field of Plant Studies.
