We are starting a new group for scholars interested in food, agriculture and sustainability. We would like this to be a group that taps into a number of different organizations and brings those working in a wide variety of sub-disciplines together.
This is an opportunity to network and meet others working in the field, discuss projects and set up panels and/or roundtables. Ultimately, we would like to create a more formal Special Interest Group (SIG) that can offer travel grants, prizes and perhaps scholarly publications.
We are looking forward to launching this new group and meeting everyone in Chicago.
