Hello,
The Geography Graduate Student Association of San Diego State University is pleased to announce our 3rd annual Climate Talks -- a free and open to the public conversation being held in person (and hybrid on Zoom) on Monday, April 10th from 3-6pm at the SDSU Student Union Theatre. Our panel is titled Native Climate Sciences: (Re)turning the Gaze on Invasive Species of Thought and features five Indigenous guest speakers from around the region. We will be discussing how Native communities are being impacted by climate change and the different knowledge bases that are re-conceptualizing the issue.
More information can be found on our website. If you'd like to attend virtually, please register here. We hope to see you there!
Cheers,
Sam Orndorff
