After two terms as Executive Director of the Central European History Society (CEHS), Benjamin Marschke of Humboldt State University will step down in 2021. The Society therefore invites applications for the four-year term of Executive Director, 2021-2025. The Executive Director is the Society’s chief administrator who oversees its finances and its tax-free corporate status. If required, the director furthermore manages the appointment of the Editor of Central European History, the Society’s journal. Finally, the director serves as the Society’s contact person for all other queries.  The position carries no honorarium, but the Society underwrites the director’s travel and hotel costs for the GSA and AHA conferences and other expenses.
