Job: Visiting Assistant Professor of Modern European History - Two-Year Position 2023-2025 - Kenyon College

Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a two-year visiting assistant professor in modern European History, beginning July 1, 2023. The successful candidate will teach the Modern and Early Modern Europe survey courses, historical methods courses, as well as other courses in both modern and early modern European history, with thematic and regional focus open, including Britain, eastern Europe, and Russia. Candidates will teach both survey and upper-level seminar courses.  Candidates should have a record of excellent teaching and a Ph.D. in hand or be near completion by the beginning of the appointment.
