Applications due February 18: Peace and Security in the South Caucasus, Summer 2020

American Councils Study Abroad is now accepting applications for its Summer 2020 Peace and Security in the South Caucasus (PSSC) program. Applications are due February 18, 2020.

 

Study cultural identity, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, history, and more in Tbilisi, Georgia, all taught in English. Visit Armenia and Azerbaijan for a comparative perspective on this critical geopolitical region. Russian, Georgian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, or Chechen language instruction offered at all levels.

 

Program features:

  • Comprehensive pre-departure orientation in Washington, D.C. as well as on-site orientation in Tbilisi
  • Housing with carefully-vetted host families
  • U.S. academic credit administered through Bryn Mawr College
  • Creative excursions and cultural activities that go beyond typical tourist destinations and offer new insights into the host country life and culture
