Women, Gender, and Families of Color (WGFC) invites submissions for upcoming issues. A multidisciplinary journal, WGFC, available in libraries through Project MUSE and JSTOR, centers on the study of Вlack, Latina/о, Indigenous, and Asian American women, gender, and families. Within this framework, the journal encourages theoretical and empirical research from history, the social and behavioral sciences, and humanities including comparative and transnational research, and analyses of domestic social, cultural, political, and economic policies and practices. The journal has а rolling submission policy and welcomes manuscripts and proposals for guest-edited special issues and book reviews at any time. Manuscripts accepted for review receive an editorial decision within an average of 45–60 days.
WGFC publishes bi-annually in the spring and fall and is available electronically and in hardcopy. The University of Kansas sponsors and the University of Illinois Press publishes WGFC.
