This Conference seeks to address major issues in the field of the history of emotions: periodisation, relevant theory and interdisciplinarity, comparative approaches, teaching and public outreach. There will also be discussion of the formation of a virtual organisation for scholars working on the history of emotions in North America, in coordination with the Society for the History of Emotions (SHE).

The conference invites paper proposals that fall within the parameters suggested above. Panels may also be proposed. Relevant prospectuses must be received no later than 30 September 2017, addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org (feel free to address any questions to this same address). Decisions will be made by the end of October 2017.
