Fellowship: NEH Fellowship for Senior Scholars at the Center for Jewish History

The Center for Jewish History offers a fellowship to senior scholars through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The award supports original research at the Center in the humanities, including but not limited to Jewish studies, Russian and East European studies, American studies and Germanic studies, as well as musicology, linguistics, anthropology, sociology and history.

Funding: GHI Fellowship in the History of Race and Ethnicity

The German Historical Institute, Washington, DC, is now accepting applications for a 6- to 12-month Fellowship in The History of Race and Ethnicity. Potential projects could focus on (but are not limited to) the following areas: African American History or the history of any other ethnic or racial group in North America, the construction of race and ethnicity, the intersection of race and nationalism, the transformation of racial and ethnic concepts over time. It is essential that the proposed research projects make use of historical methods and engage with the relevant historiography.
