Seeking Panelists for NWSA: "Native Women's Embodied Experience: Land, Justice, and the Sacred" (deadline Feb 21)

Elizabeth Rule Discussion
Hi Everyone,

I am currently seeking panelists and a moderator (can present elsewhere at NWSA, but not on this specific panel) for the National Women's Studies Association, Nov. 8-11, 2018, Atlanta, Georgia. The paper session is entitled, "Native Women's Embodied Experience: Land, Justice, and the Sacred."

This panel will focus on broadly on indigenous women's issues, with emphasis on the relationship between indigenous women and the land. Potential topics may include (but are not limited to): reproductive justice, gender violence, the environment, spirituality and the sacred, activism and community organizing, and tribal law, policy, and sovereignty.

Please send paper titles and abstracts (50-100 words), and CV or biographical statement to: Elizabeth_Rule@Brown.edu by February 9. I will be in touch shortly thereafter!

Thank you!

All best,
Elizabeth
