The History Department at Georgia State University invites applications for a Lecturer position in Modern World History (1500 CE to present) to begin Fall 2019. A national leader in using innovation to drive student success, Georgia State enrolls and graduates one of the most diverse student bodies in the nation.

The Department of History welcomes applicants who are committed to creative, engaging pedagogies, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and the development of learning opportunities beyond the classroom. The department seeks candidates with expertise and/or experience teaching Modern World History (1500 CE to present). The Department of History is committed to building its research and instructional excellence by increasing the diversity of its faculty and strongly encourages applications from individuals in under-represented groups.
