H-Net's Mastodon instance, h-net.social, will be offline Wednesday, December 7, starting around 7pm Eastern to upgrade to the lastet version of the platform. This update will include some security fixes as well as new features including the ability to filter followed accounts' posts by language, following hashtags, translating posts, editing, and an improved filtering system. We anticipate a downtime of 1-2 hours.
