Conference: Southern Forum on Agricultural, Rural, and Environmental History (SFARE), April 15-16, 2016

The Department of History at Samford University is proud to announce the Ninth Annual Meeting of Southern Forum on Agricultural, Rural, and Environmental History (SFARE), which will be held at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 15-16, 2016. Sponsored in part by the Center for the History of Agriculture, Science, and the Environment of the South at Mississippi State (CHASES) and the Agricultural History Society, the conference provides a collegial setting for established scholars and advanced graduate students to present material that pushes the boundaries of agricultural, rural, and environmental history. The keynote address will feature Dr. Bart Elmore, author of Citizen Coke: The Making of Coca-Cola Capitalism. The full program is available at the CHASES website.
