New URL for online Nahuatl Dictionary
Hello Colleagues,
The online Nahuatl Dictionary created by Wired Humanities Projects (University of Oregon) and IDIEZ (in Zacatecas) is now being hosted on Drupal, which should keep it from crashing. We are still working to improve the searching and the display of results and adding back the Spanish and Nahuatl interfaces, but we are making good progress. As soon as we improve these things, we will resume adding new content.

New movie in Nahuatl
Building on the success of "Roma" there is a new movie, "Café," that focuses on a family following the death of the patriarch in the village of in Quetzalan, in the sierra de Puebla. It is distributed by Icarus films. Many universities subscribe to their stream.

CFP: Northeastern Group of Nahuatl Scholars, May, 2020 Meeting
The Northeastern Group of Nahuatl Scholars has announced the dates for the May 2019 meeting. Please save the following dates: Friday, May 10 (noon) through Sunday, May 12. Unlike previous years when meetings were held at Yale University, the 2019 meeting will be held on the campus of the University at Albany (SUNY). The deadline for proposals will be April 1, 2019. Successful proposals will be approved on a rolling basis, as space is available.
