The University of Utah/IDIEZ 2020 Summer Nahuatl Program will be held online
from June 22 to August 31 (six weeks). It will include two hours per day of Modern Nahuatl,
at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels; two hours per day of Classical Nahuatl
at the beginning and intermediate/advanced levels; as well as one hour per day of individual
and small group instruction. Classes will be held Monday through Friday, beginning at 9am
and finishing by 5pm, Mountain time. All instruction will be live, using an online videoconferencing
platform. Tuition for non-FLAS recipients is US$3000. The US Department of Education has
approved the award of FLAS grants for online summer language courses, and the University
of Utah administration is currently seeking approval of this for our Nahuatl program.
