Announcement: ASLH voting is now open through September 22.

ASLH Elections are underway now through September 22. If you are a member of the society, you should receive today or tomorrow (August 21 or 22) a ballot for the election from VoteNow, the organization that conducts our elections. If you have not received it, please check your spam folder first.

Reminder: CFP 'Monarchy and Modernity, 1500-1945', University of Cambridge, 8-9 January 2019

The conference announced on the cfp below was originally designed for Europeanists, but was opened up to all world areas following multiple requests by non-Europeanists to participate. The cfp has therefore been revised and the deadline extended to August 15, 2018. Please note that all proposals previously submitted remain valid and, where applicable, accepted.

Reminder: ASLH Student Research Colloquium Applications coming due on July 15th

The American Society for Legal History will host a Student Research Colloquium (SRC) on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, immediately preceding the ASLH’s annual meeting in Houston, Texas. The SRC annually enables eight Ph.D. students and law students to discuss their in-progress dissertations and articles with distinguished ASLH-affiliated scholars.
