Section 6

Renewal
To renew after one year simply send an updated CV (provided the current lead editor does not have a copy on file), and new projects proposals you would like to develop (please download and complete the proposal forms - use one for each project would like to propose) with a detailed schedule and plan of action, together with an outline of additional duties you would like to undertake to the lead editor at h.cel.net@gmail.com.

NOTE: Please bear in mind that by completing each proposal you are committing to undertake projects within the year (12 months) of your renewal. With this in mind, your proposals should fit in with your work/life schedule/commitments and should also take into consideration the hours that you are able to devote to volunteering as an editor. To be clear, you have the opportunity to develop your ideas and work at a pace best suited to you to complete your projects within a 12 month period. You are also expected to liaise with the lead editor throughout the process.

Renewing simply demonstrates your interest and commitment to continuing as a volunteer editor and an opportunity to re-evaluating the hours you are able to devote to volunteering. Proposing the kind of projects you would like to undertake at your own pace means that you can work in a manner that you feel comfortable with. It also supports the health of the network when we have clear and detailed plans in place.

Please complete one form for each of the projects you wish to propose - Project Proposal Form.

Section 7

New Editors:

We will then assemble a file of all vitas, sift through them and pick the nominees. Once we have the nominees, we will begin the formal process of certification, after which you will begin your training (nothing to be anxious about the training; it is very simple and useful for the role of the editor).
