We are seeking additional contributions for an interdisciplinary panel at NACBS 2018 on ‘Money, Value, and the 18th Century Home’. The panel is intended to investigate the relationship between money, value, identity, and the home in the eighteenth-century British world.

We encourage paper proposals across disciplines that focus on the value of objects in domestic space.  Contributions from the perspective of material culture, colonialism and slavery, literature, domestic architecture and art, national and local identities, class and gender, and everyday lived experiences, as well as social and economic history and popular culture, are encouraged.

For further information, discussion of possible papers, or to submit a proposal (250 words) please contact Stephen Hague (Rowan University), Responses by Friday 23 March would be appreciated.
