Dear H-Albion members

I'd be grateful if you could draw the attention of any potentially interested MA students to a PhD opportunity, at the University of Nottingham.

The studentship will be based in the Department of History and the central research question should be associated with one, or more, of the following historical themes: nursing, midwifery, gender, caring, domesticity and health post 1800. The studentship funding is attached to an AHRC-funded project on Florence Nightingale; however, there is no obligation for the student to study Nightingale specifically.

The deadline for applications is 28 February.
