Bailey Article Prize from the New York State Association of European Historians

The New York State Association of European Historians is accepting submissions for the triennial Charles R. Bailey Prize for best journal article on European history. Articles published between August 2020 and July 2023 are eligible for consideration. Please send your submission as a .pdf file by email to Brian Newsome (brian.newsome@gcsu.edu, cc’d to newsomewb@gmail.com) or in hard copy (kindly send 3 copies) by postal mail to Brian Newsome, Dean of the John E. Sallstrom Honors College, CBX 029, Georgia College & State University, 231 W. Hancock St., Milledgeville, GA 31061. The submission deadline is August 1, 2023. The award will be presented during the annual conference at St. Francis College in New York City on Oct. 13-14, 2023. The winner will be notified prior to the conference to facilitate attendance. The prize winner must be a member of the NYSAEH. Membership may be established and/or renewed by registering for the 2023 conference. A monetary award and a link to the winning article on the NYSAEH website accompany the prize. Please address any questions directly to Brian Newsome.
