Last Call for Martha Ross Prize
Reminder: applications for our Martha Ross Prize are due 3/8! Named in honor of our late founding member, OHMAR’s Martha Ross Prize is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate student creating original work in oral history. This award both recognizes the achievements of the student and her or his contributions to the field of oral history and provides financial assistance for the student’s current project (i.e., for travel or transcription costs, research, archiving, technology purchases, et cetera) in the amount of $500. Please help us spread the word! See more here.
Board Members Wanted
OHMAR currently needs several new board members. These are volunteer positions of two or three years (depending on the role). We meet once per month via Zoom, and conduct other business via email as needed. For more info, see our by-laws, here, or email President Melissa Ziobro, firstname.lastname@example.org.
