Animal Studies is a relatively new, wildly diverse, and quickly growing, field. Given the range of work that has emerged in the last decade and given that many people are just beginning to find connections between their particular projects and animals, H-Animal has commissioned a series of concise "overview reviews," organized largely by discipline, to help researchers grasp the history and energy of the field.
