British Animal Studies Network (BASN) Updates

Dear Friends

This is to update you to a number of exciting things going on with the British Animal Studies Network at the moment.

First: for those of you who were unable to join us for our series of meetings on 'Violence' in the past few months, all the talks were recorded and are available to view via links on our website 

Second: the call for papers for our next meeting - organised by colleagues at the University of Birmingham - is now open. 'Loss' will take place online 7-9 September. Details of the call can be found here The cfp closes on Monday 28 June.

Third: we have one online 'Violence' event still to come. Our grand finale is a conversation with and performance by our poet-in-residence, the wonderful Susan Richardson. This event will take place on Thursday 24 June, from 7.30-8.30pm (BST). It is free to attend, but registration is required, so please sign up here.
