Dr. Nwachukwu Frank Ukadike, Esteemed Scholar of African Film, has passed away

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am writing to inform the AfrLitCine community, that Dr. N. Frank Ukadike has died. He passed away Aug 4, 2018, while conducting research and visiting friends and family in Agbor, Nigeria. 

Last week, we honored his passing with a beautiful memorial service here at Tulane University, where Frank Ukadike was a respected and loved professor of Africana Studies and Communications for twenty years. We send our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, colleagues, and former students.
