Kean University Holocaust Resource Center (HRC) will commemorate its 40th Anniversary Tuesday evening, Nov. 29th at 7 PM at the University's STEM Auditorium, 1075 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey. Dr. Judah Cohen of Indiana University will be the Murray Pantirer Memorial Scholar Lecture Speaker. Attendance to the event is open, please see below.
Established in 1982, the HRC is a joint initiative with Kean University and the Holocaust Resource Foundation (HRF), a private philanthropic organization founded by Holocaust Survivors who rebuilt their lives in New Jersey. The HRC, one of the oldest Centers of its kind in New Jersey, fosters ongoing awareness of the Holocaust among students, teachers and community members with many ongoing programs on Holocaust Education, a Library, an Oral History Project and many other endeavors. Shelley Paradis is the Holocaust Resource Foundation President and Dr. Adara Goldberg is Director of the Holocaust Resource Center.
