GSL Survey: How has Covid changed history speaker events?

How has Covid changed history speaker events?

In order to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic, history program attendees, speakers, and coordinators have all had to learn how to navigate the technology of virtual events and get used to the very different vibe of virtual events compared with in-person. There are pros and cons to both and, with the hope of a return to normal possible, many are rethinking how to approach their programs in future. Will organizations incorporate more virtual options? Are speakers selling as many books virtually as in-person?

As a speaker myself, I have my own opinions. But I would like to hear from you! What have your experiences been like? What format do you prefer?

To help get some answers, I designed the short survey linked below for Garden State Legacy.

I have set a deadline of June 30th for responses, but will aggregate and share the results in early July. Feel free to share this survey with anyone who might have useful insights to offer!

Thank you!

Is anyone having a problem where the survey is opening with the exit page? It was working okay when I posted this, but when I clicked the link myself, I had that problem. I am using a third party website to do this, so if anyone else is seeing the same thing, please let me know so I can get it fixed!
Thank you!
