Historic Preservation Course at Kean University

Jonathan Mercantini Discussion

Introduction to Historic Preservation is being offered at Kean University.

The course will meet on Thursdays from 6-830 PM  in the Green Lane Building Room 409.  There will also be a few Saturday sessions to visit Historic Sites in our area.

Although the first session has already met, it is not too late to participate in the course.

The course is led by Kate Reggev.  Kate holds MA in both Architecture and Historic Preservation from Columbia University.  She has some very exciting ideas for the course, which will focus on the Fundamentals of Historic Preservation and use case studies at sites across our region.

The cost is $495 for this course.  Participants will receive credit toward their Certificate in Historic Preservation that we are planning to launch in September 2016.  We also should (still working on this) be able to award Continuing Education credits through AIA as well.

Please contact Dr. Jonathan Mercantini at jmercant@kean.edu  for additional information.
