Mellon Foundation,” Journal of Electronic Publishing 18 (Fall 2015), DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3998/3336451.0018.407 .  The report begins: "Over the course of six months during the 2014-15 academic year, a working group of faculty and administrators at Emory University met regularly to explore and understand the development of a new model for supporting and disseminating book-length publication in the humanities. The challenges facing traditional university press publication of humanities monographs have been reported widely."  It goes on at considerable length and concludes with bibliography and notes.
