I am sad to report the death of Dr. Charles S. Peterson. Chas was the editor of the Western Historical Quarterly from 1980-89, and a longtime member of USU's History Department. He was a kind but exacting editor, a generous mentor, and a gracious human being. I will miss him greatly.
