This is Mohammad Nasravi I am from Iran and a member of the Utopian Studies Society of Europe.
Professor Lyman Tower Sargent told me to send you an email about my request:
As you know, we experience special social and political circumstances in Iran. I want to request you and other members of the Society for Utopian Studies interested in Utopian Movements, give us a speech about utopia for Iranian students and scholars. I can manage online sessions for this program. What is in my mind is that we organize an online speech every other week could be on weekends. It will be 30 to 45 minutes the presentation. After that, we will have a question and answer session. The main topic is "Social Dreaming" the speeches and presentation can discuss these topics:
1- Social hope
2- Utopian movements
3- Imagination and Utopia
4- Women and Utopia
5- The role of art in utopian movements
6- Typology of Dystopias
It is my suggestion you can offer ideas for presentations and topics. I will do my best to provide funds for speakers and presenters. Thank you very much for your help.
